The philosophy of the programme is to address individual needs of young people by providing the chance to gain qualifications in areas of interest through the Correspondence School as well as through a range of activities that challenge young people through adventure based approaches and also develop practical work and personal life skills. Basic numeracy and literacy are addressed as are personal standards of behaviour and team work.
